I have, over the years, collected games from the very common (every version of D&D) to the very obscure (ever hear of Road Rebels? How about Machineguns&Magic?). Here is where I will pick a semi-random game from my shelf and create a character using it. |

Fantasy
( 3 Articles )
Characters from games where magic is called magic, and not psionics or nanotech or whatnot. Wizards, elves, dragons, you know the drill.
-
Horror
( 1 Articles )
Vampires. Werewolves. Cthulhu. Things that want to eat your spleen, and you either fight them or, in most modern games of this genre, you are them. But you don't want to eat your own spleen. That would just be silly.

Science Fiction
( 2 Articles )
Characters from, and reviews of, games which self-classify as "science fiction", meaning, generally, all the k00l p0w3rz are explained by technology, no matter how unbelievable, implausible, poorly developed, or self-contradictory. For reasons unknown to me, "psionics" is classed as "science fiction", while "magic" is classed as fantasy. I obey this convention here.
